Requirements include a CA BSIS Guard Card, armed permit, 1–2 years of experience, and a valid CA driver’s license. This position is part-time and on-site, with a focus on safety and confidentiality.

Armed Estate Security Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, disciplined, and attentive Armed Estate Security Specialist to oversee physical security and access control for a private residential estate in Malibu, California. The ideal candidate will maintain a secure environment, enforce safety protocols, and provide a protective presence across the property while ensuring a professional and respectful dynamic for estate residents, guests, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain active perimeter control, conduct routine foot patrols, and secure access points across the estate.


• Monitor CCTV networks, alarm monitoring panels, and entry logs in real time.


• Screen, log, and verify all incoming visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel.


• Respond promptly and calmly to security alerts, emergency situations, or unauthorized intrusions.


• Maintain clear communication logs and complete detailed shift activity reports.


• Assist with basic safety checks and coordinate safe entry/exit for estate residents.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certifications: Active California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Guard Card and Armed Exposed Firearm Permit (Required).


• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in armed security, asset protection, or access control.


• Firearms Proficiency: Demonstrated safe handling, marksmanship, and maintenance of permitted firearms.


• Clearances: Must pass a background check, drug screening, and state regulatory clearances.


• Professionalism: Strong communication skills, sound decision-making under pressure, and strict adherence to privacy/discretion.


• Physical Fitness: Ability to walk, stand, and patrol outdoor grounds in varying weather conditions throughout assigned shifts.


• Driver's License: Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
