Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed EMT or RN Security Operative to conduct armed foot patrols (interior and exterior) and respond to emergencies. The position requires prior law enforcement experience and EMT certification or RN license.

This is a part-time role with hours varying. The pay rate is $41 per hour, with benefits including health insurance, a 401k plan, and ongoing training opportunities. Background checks and drug screening are required as part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years police experience with a city, state, government, or municipality.
• Possess 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent.
• Possess a valid EMT certificate or registered nursing license.
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws; criminal histories considered.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Valid security and concealed weapon license; licensing per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; vary by client site.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting persons as needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or materials to the client.
• Document any irregular security- or safety-related incidents.
