Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is hiring an Armed EMT or Security Operative to perform armed foot patrols and respond to emergencies. The role requires prior police experience (min 5 years), 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent, and an EMT certificate or nursing license.

Workdays are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm, with pay at $61.04 per hour. Benefits include health insurance, 401k, and ongoing paid training; background check and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years police experience with a city, state, government, or municipality.
• Possess 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent.
• Possess a valid EMT certificate or registered nursing license.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Have a valid security and concealed weapon license.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter; vary by client site.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting persons as needed.
• Observe and report suspicious behavior or materials to the client.
• Document any security-related incidents and communicate them to the client.

• Pay is $61.04 per hour
• Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm
• Must have prior law enforcement experience and be a certified EMT or willing to complete EMT courses (will be reimbursed for courses after 90 days of employment)

Our risk and consulting group, under Allied Universal® Enhanced Protection Services, is hiring an Armed EMT or Security Operative. The Armed EMT or Security Operative will conduct armed foot patrol (interior and exterior). Additional duties include responding to emergency incidents, composing reports, and deterring criminal activity and misconduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Intercede, escort, or assist in escorting, persons as needed
• Observe and report inappropriate or suspicious behavior and/or materials/objects to the client
• Communicate and/or document any irregular security-related or safety-related incidents

Minimum Requirements

• Have a minimum of 5 years police experience with a city, state, government, or municipality
• Possess 20 college credits from a police academy or equivalent.
• Possess a valid EMT certificate or registered nursing license
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Have a valid security and concealed weapon license
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and are required prior to employment.
