Qualifications

Allied Universal is looking to hire an Armed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). The EMT professionals will support coverage as required by client procedures. The EMT will respond to all medical emergencies, supporting the Protected Area (PA), Vital Area (VA), and Owner Controlled Area (OCA). This position provides appropriate patient care within EMT Basic certification and client protocols, assists Fire Brigade during drills and actual responses, provides medical attention to contaminated patients, and supports security drills and responses.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Respond to all medical emergencies, providing appropriate patient care within EMT Basic certification
  • Complete detailed medical reports as applicable
  • Inventory EMS response equipment once per shift
  • Change the battery in the Auto Pulse every 24 hours
  • Perform radio checks with Security Force to maintain communication
  • Drive the Ambulance regularly to keep the vehicle in good condition
  • Assist Fire Brigade during drills and responses
  • Ensure emergency response equipment is maintained, replaced, and properly certified
  • Provide medical attention during drills or emergencies, including contaminated patients
  • Assist in low-level case management
  • Conduct monthly AED testing
  • Report safety concerns and suggest corrective actions
  • Monitor for conditions that may pose security or safety hazards
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid EMT-B or higher certification
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary licensing
  • At least one year of relevant work experience
