Job summary

Allied Universal in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a part-time Security Officer Armed Driver Credential Audit to protect residents and visitors while enforcing access-control procedures. This driving post offers scheduled shifts and requires vigilance, customer service, and adherence to safety policies.

You will monitor entry points, conduct patrols, document incidents, and coordinate with site leadership to maintain a secure, welcoming community environment.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, entrances, amenities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, property concerns, and policy violations.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
