Job summary

Walden Security in Albuquerque, NM is seeking experienced Court Security Officers to provide armed protection for courthouses under the USMS contract. A sign-on bonus of $1000 is paid after 90 days on the contract.

Responsibilities include entrance control, roving patrols, stationary post assignments, escorts for judges and court staff, traffic control, and enforcing federal law. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and relevant security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least three years of verifiable law enforcement or military security experience within the last seven years.
• Must read, write, speak English.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record; DOJ clearance; certified training.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform entrance control and screen for weapons and contraband.
• Roving patrol of court facilities per post orders.
• Guard stationary posts including CCTV and alarms.
• Provide armed escort for judges and court personnel.
• Direct traffic and parking at court facilities.
• Deter unauthorized access and enforce federal law.
