Job summary

AT-RISK International is seeking a Site Security Specialist to support on-site security operations, assess threats, respond to incidents, and coordinate with client leadership and partners. The role requires high professionalism, emotional maturity, and firearms proficiency in a corporate environment.

Responsibilities include incident response, evacuations, maintaining equipment readiness, and training support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in corporate security or related fields
• Active assailant prevention and response experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (not a substitute for experience)
• Armed security licensing and firearms qualification may be required by jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents as armed responder during active assailant events and emergencies
• Support evacuations, lockdowns, shelter-in-place operations
• Maintain proficiency with firearms and emergency procedures
• Liaise between company, client, and security personnel
• Review logs and assist with investigations and reporting
• Support training, onboarding, and site security operations
• Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism in interactions
• Perform additional duties as assigned
