Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain Rhode Island DBR license and pass a background check.
• Armed or unarmed security with 3+ years experience preferred.
• Rhode Island Pistol Permit preferred and RI Lottery License Ops considered.
• Active or former military or law enforcement background and corrections experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents including accidents, emergencies, medical aids, and requests for assistance from other departments.
• Guard and escort monies and safeguard nightly drops from VLT machines.
• Assist guests by providing information and directing to appropriate sources for assistance.
• Check identification of individuals entering the facility in compliance with RI state law.
• Prepare security reports and assist in employee investigations.
• Provide security for special events, fights, parties, and tournaments.
• Patrol entrances, gaming floor, bars, and monitor alcohol consumption.
• Detain and eject individuals violating policies when required.
