Job summary

American Heritage Schools – Broward Campus is seeking an Armed Security Supervisor. A background in law enforcement is required. The role involves patrolling the campus, overseeing security personnel, and ensuring safety for students and staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Director of Security, enforcing access control, and responding to emergencies. Requires physical endurance, firearms qualifications, and the ability to manage incidents across campus.

Qualifications

• Must have prior military or law enforcement experience.
• Must pass a Psychological Evaluation.
• Must hold a valid license (D&G).
• Must complete firearms qualifications and quarterly trainings.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus on foot or by golf cart to maintain security.
• Supervise security personnel and coordinate with the Director of Security.
• Enforce campus access control and monitor visitor admissions.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies and coordinate with school officials.
• Direct traffic and manage post assignments during events.
