Job summary

Texans Can! Academies is seeking a Security Operations Liaison (Armed) to safeguard students, staff, and visitors under the direction of the Executive Director of Safety and Security or Designee. The role requires collaboration with campus administration and emergency services to maintain order and respond to incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or qualifying military/law enforcement/security experience
• Bilingual preferred
• Texas Level III or IV security certification, Texas License to Carry, and valid Texas Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Ensure security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors and premises
• Patrol and monitor school areas to deter, detect, report and stop violations
• Control entry and screen visitors per district policy
• Assist with investigations and coordinate with law enforcement as needed
• Respond to incidents and emergencies; communicate with administration and emergency services
