Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for a college campus in El Paso, TX. You will perform routine armed patrols, deter incidents, and respond to security concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. A Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.

The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Applicants must meet age, education, and licensing requirements and may undergo background checks and drug screening as applicable.

Qualifications

• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security procedures and site policies at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain communications with site contacts and leadership.
