Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Armed guard card or license preferred.
• 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent completed.
• Background check in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and contractors per site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, medical situations with calm, documented actions.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking, and grounds.
• Monitor access points and deter unauthorized entry and suspicious activity.
• Maintain firearms qualifications and handle equipment per laws and policy.
