Job summary

Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Response Agent to safeguard client property, personnel, and reputation through armed campus assignments. You will perform rapid assessments, coordinate with responders, and maintain detailed incident documentation.

The role requires a decade of armed campus protection or law enforcement experience, CA firearm qualifications, and solid skills in communication and crisis management. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Tactical medicine training and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to apply independent judgment under adverse or stressful conditions.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional appearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide armed protection and security-related functions for the client’s campus assignments.
• Identify suspicious activity and determine appropriate action.
• Deter criminal activity and mitigate liability.
• Conduct basic physical security risk assessments of campus weekly and document findings.
• Respond to emergencies, provide medical support as needed, and coordinate with first responders.
• Deescalate tense situations and assist in crisis planning.
• Complete reporting for daily operations, incidents, and logs.
• Operate protective, communications, and other security equipment and address deficiencies.
