Advanced Professional Security (APS) is seeking an armed security officer for our bank location in Denver, CO (Downtown). You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, responding to emergencies, and enforcing security protocols with collaboration from law enforcement.

The ideal candidate is observant, composed under pressure, and possesses strong English communication skills. The role involves standing for long periods and working with security technology in a bank setting.

Qualifications

• Must be observant and able to respond professionally in high-stress situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• High school diploma or GED and ability to comply with banking security policies.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and surveillance of bank premises and use of monitoring equipment.
• Control access points, verify IDs, and maintain visitor logs.
• Respond to alarms, coordinate with law enforcement, and document incidents.
• Assist customers and staff while maintaining a secure environment.
• Ensure security equipment is operational and report malfunctions.
