Job summary

Brink’s Inc. in the Philadelphia area is hiring an armed FT Air Courier Messenger to escort customer cargo with security and provide professional service.

The role requires operating in an armed environment, enforcing rules to protect Brink’s premises and property, and ensuring safety for customers and armored vehicles during transit. This position emphasizes security compliance, strong customer interaction, and the ability to respond to dynamic situations while delivering liability to customer

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience as courier or guard in secured logistics.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT requirements.
• Valid weapons permit or ability to obtain one.
• Valid guard card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Escort customer cargo with armed security from plane side to customer location and back.
• Monitor shipments on the tarmac and ensure proper liability documentation.
• Provide secure delivery of liability with outstanding customer service.
• Ensure liability is secured inside and outside the vehicle.
• Assist with movement of liability between facility and vehicles.
• Adhere to DOT and traffic regulations and related guidelines.
• Report security or safety violations to supervisors and managers.
• Follow General Security Regulations and other directives.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
