Job summary

Brink’s Global Services U.S., Inc. is seeking an armed FT Air Courier Messenger to escort customer cargo from aircraft to client locations while upholding strict security and safety standards.

This role operates in an armed environment and demands vigilance and professionalism in handling liability and shipments. The position requires DOT compliance, ability to lift 50 pounds, and flexibility to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a courier or guard in secured logistics.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Satisfy all Department of Transportation requirements.
• A valid weapons permit or ability to pass applicable weapons licensing requirements.
• A valid guard card or ability to obtain a guard card or any other required licenses.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a consistent and regular basis.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible range of hours as needed including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Escort customer cargo from plane side to customer locations.
• Provide armed security for shipments.
• Monitor shipments on aircraft tarmac and ensure liability is secured during delivery.
• Follow all DOT regulations and traffic guidelines.
• Report security or safety violations to supervisors.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
