ABB in Flowery Branch, Georgia is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead stator manufacturing processes, including winding, coil wrapping, insulation and testing.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education.
  • Motor manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred with the ability to set high performance standards for self and others.
  • Must pass a background and drug screen; valid U.S. work authorization.
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English.

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture AC motor stators by performing winding, coil wrapping, insulation, inserting, connecting, lashing, brazing, and electrical testing according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
  • Operate and set up production equipment including winding and insertion machines, following work instructions and production standards.
  • Perform quality and technical checks by reading blueprints, work orders, and routing documents, using measuring tools and gauges, and applying basic math to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and productive work environment by using PPE, safely operating tools and lifting equipment, and performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
