Freeman Health System is seeking a Vice President, Market Chief Operating Officer for the Arkansas Market. You will provide executive leadership across hospitals, ambulatory locations, and service lines to deliver exceptional patient care and operational excellence.

You will partner with market and system leaders to drive strategic initiatives, improve quality and patient experience, and ensure financial stewardship and sustainable growth across Northwest Arkansas.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience in executive leadership in a complex healthcare environment.
• Strong operational and financial management expertise.
• Ability to lead in a matrixed, fast-paced, multi-market environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for day-to-day operations across Arkansas Market hospitals, ambulatory locations, and designated service lines.
• Partner with the Market President and executive leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Lead market-wide operational planning efforts that align with facility, market, and system priorities.
• Drive operational integration and standardization across market entities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement in operational processes and service delivery.
• Develop budgets, capital plans, and business cases with finance leadership.
• Support succession planning and leadership development across the market.
• Represent Freeman Health System with physicians, providers, and community stakeholders.
