BARNES AEROSPACE MRO in Arkansas City, KS is seeking a part-time Human Resources Generalist to support the Arkansas City facility. You will administer HR policies, handle onboarding and offboarding, manage payroll bi-weekly, and oversee timekeeping and attendance.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of HR experience, knowledge of federal and local employment law, excellent time management, and strong Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of practical HR experience, preferably in manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Administer HR policies, procedures, standards and government regulations.
• Acts as liaison between employee and management regarding policies and regulations.
• Assist with day-to-day HR administrative activities and employee support.
• Manage payroll function for the site and perform bi-weekly payroll as scheduled.
• Perform onboarding tasks and new-hire orientations.
• Perform offboarding tasks and necessary paperwork and system updates.
• Respond to routine employee questions and escalate complex issues.
• Oversee timekeeping and attendance administration.
• Prepare routine HR reports, spreadsheets, and documents.
• Support employee engagement activities and company events.
• Assist with performance management and reviews.
