Qualified candidates must be able to lift 80 lbs, work at heights over 80 feet, and pass a drug screening. Experience in steel erection and welding is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 80lbs and withstand the physical demands of erecting steel.
• Must be able to work at heights of 80 feet or more.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screening for illegal and illicit substances.
• Welding experience is necessary with a pre-interview test.
• Prior experience in Steel Erection or similar construction work is required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, rigging, connecting, bolting and welding steel while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Operation of Forklift for unloading and arranging steel members.
• Attendance is required to keep projects on schedule.
• Layout, cutting, installation, welding, and fastening steel deck.
• Assist newer ironworkers in learning the trade.
