Job summary

Qualifications

• Read, understand and interpret blueprints and specifications.

• Follow safety guidelines, procedures and policies on site.
• Knowledge and use of crane hoisting, rigging and signaling (certifications a plus).
• Welding, torch cutting, arc gouging, grinding.
• Must be certified or able to pass a 3G and 4G weld test (SMAW and FCAW).
• Operate equipment (scissor lifts, booms, reach forklifts, etc.).
• Able to work overtime, nights and weekends as required.
• Have own tools.

The company is an industrial and steel company based in Mesa, Arizona and has been in business since 1974 and continues to grow each year.

This position will be working on the Amkor Project in Peoria, AZ.

The company is looking to hire experienced ironworkers who have at least 3 years of experience in ironworking and welding. Ironworkers are involved in raising, positioning, aligning, and connecting steel girders, columns, beams, and other structural members to form completed structures or structural frameworks. Must be able to pass a drug test.

Pay depends on experience.

Ironworkers must be physically able to:

• Lift and carry objects weighing more than 50 lbs.
• Stoop, kneel, crawl, lay, bend, squat, stand and walk for long periods of time
• Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding or high structures (may exceed 100ft)
