Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a networking Specialist to refresh Arista equipment and upgrade Wells Fargo network infrastructure from 30 pairs of equipment. The role requires experiencia with Arista, routing and switching, plus Cisco systems.

The position is contract-based with a hybrid work schedule in Charlotte, NC. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or 3+ years of networking experience, plus scripting (YAML, Python, Ansible) and change-control experience (ServiceNow).

Qualifications

• CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering and/or 3+ years of networking experience.
• Experience creating/updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams.
• Experience with scripting YAML/Python/Ansible/GitHub.
• Experience with Change control processes - Service Now.
• Strong documentation and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio Professional.
• Ability to make decisions quickly in a high-volume hosting environment.
• Ability to coordinate, document and drive flawless execution.
• Willingness to work on-site; hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Execute changes on the Wells Fargo network via the change control process.
• Assist in mitigating risk for the enterprise by addressing capacity problems or system issues.
• Participate in enterprise-level projects from an engineering perspective.
• Responsible for design, reviewing, implementing, testing/validating, and researching industry best practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49.85 - $55.00/hr.
