Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering with irrigation specialization.
• Minimum 5 years design experience in arid or semi-arid regions.
• Proficiency in hydraulic calculations and water resource management.
• Experience with irrigation design software (AutoCAD, Hydrus) and modeling.
• Knowledge of crop water requirements and scheduling methods.

Responsibilities

• Design efficient irrigation systems tailored to arid environments.
• Perform site assessments including soil and topography.
• Calculate ETc-based water requirements and climate data.
• Develop detailed design plans and BOMs.
• Oversee installation and commissioning and provide field support.
• Stay updated on irrigation tech and fertigation strategies.
• Collaborate with farmers, consultants, and agencies.
