Job summary

Kearney, City of (NE) is seeking an Airport Maintenance Worker to support ARFF duties and general maintenance of airport buildings and grounds. Under supervision, you will perform skilled carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds tasks aligned with Part 139 safety procedures.

You will operate ARFF apparatus, maintain airport equipment, remove snow, repair runways and taxiways, and assist with janitorial duties.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with two years progressively responsible manual labor and equipment operation/maintenance experience.
Must complete initial 40-hour ARFF qualification course and recurrent ARFF certification training, annual drills.
