Job summary

City of Kearney seeks a dedicated airport ground service agent at Kearney Regional Airport. You will assist with ramp operations, fueling, towing, and ground support for arriving or departing aircraft, while maintaining safety and quality of service.

Responsibilities include operating ground service equipment, coordinating with crews, and participating in on-call rotations including evenings and weekends. A high school diploma and Nebraska driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must obtain Aviation Fuel Handling training within first week of employment.
• Possession of a valid Nebraska driver's license.
• Basic aviation knowledge with prior customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and ground support to arriving and departing aircraft.
• Assist with airport grounds maintenance and snow removal.
• Operate and maintain ground service equipment such as tugs, fuel trucks, GPUs, oxygen systems, mowers and snow plows.
