Job summary

The Houston Rockets marketing team is seeking a seasoned events marketing professional to lead advertising campaigns and partner with promoters to maximize attendance at Toyota Center events.

You will manage budgets, coordinate PR initiatives, develop grassroots strategies, and oversee in-arena assets while collaborating with the Rockets and Comets marketing departments to leverage assets and drive revenue.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related field and 5+ years of event marketing experience.
• Experience with media buying across multiple channels.
• Experience in entertainment venue marketing and sponsorship development.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement advertising campaigns for facility and third-party events.
• Develop grassroots campaigns and cultivate community relations.
• Lead PR campaigns, press relations and media days.
• Conceptualize welcome experiences for artists and event coverage.
• Oversee media placement across radio, TV, digital, social, and print.
• Manage promoter marketing needs and maintain Toyota Center branding.
