Job summary

The Florida Panthers Hockey Club is seeking a diligent Floor Technician / Lead to maintain and restore flooring across Amerant Bank Arena. You will operate cleaning equipment, follow safety protocols, and support a safe, sanitary environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor care: sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, sealing, and refinishing hard surface flooring.
• Clean carpeted areas using professional methods such as shampooing, hot water extraction, bonnet cleaning, and spot treatment.
• Operate and maintain industrial floor care equipment safely (auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, extractors).
• Follow OSHA standards and safety policies; handle chemicals with PPE and appropriate signage.
• Maintain cleanliness across corridors, lobbies, seating bowl areas, restrooms, suites, offices, and exterior entrances.
• Follow the Arena's maintenance calendar for preventative and cyclical floor care.
