Job summary

Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) is seeking a Building Operations Crew – Part Time to assist with the setup and execution of events at the arena, as well as maintenance projects related to the building. The role requires a strong work ethic and a flexible schedule, including weekends and unusual hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and long hours as needed.
• Must work well in a team environment with full-time and part-time staff.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist full-time staff with arena setups for events (NBA games, concerts, etc.).
• Change setups between events; move chairs/tables, install rails, and reconfigure seating areas.
• Assist head rigger and rigging staff with curtains, stages, and related tasks.
• Supervise contracted labor for event setups/breakdowns and train staff in proper techniques.
• Support other departments (Event Services, Housekeeping) in event prep and execution.
• Review setups/checklists to ensure completion before doors open.
