Job summary

The Carolina Hurricanes are seeking an Entertainment Coordinator to assist in creating, coordinating and executing entertainment elements at all Hurricanes home games in Raleigh, NC. You will serve as a primary contact for entertainment talent and manage pre/post-game and intermission activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating promotions, activations, and contests, and acting as stage manager at related events.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, creative, and proactive in taking initiative.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and maintain professionalism.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools; basic knowledge of video production and broadcast systems preferred but not required.
• 1–3 years of relevant live event experience; sports event experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact on game days for Hurricanes Entertainment talent (in-arena host, PA announcer, DJ).
• Manage booking, hosting, and coordinating pre/post-game and intermission entertainment (anthem performers, color guards, sirens, bands, ceremony participants).
• Own creation and execution of entertainment, sponsorship activations, promotions, and contests with stakeholders.
• Make decisions and autonomously implement improvements to public-facing game day moments.
• Assist in creating and executing entertainment elements, coordinate promotional team, and act as stage manager at Hurricanes events.
• Build strong working relationships with building/event personnel, vendors, internal departments, and clients.
