Compass Group USA at State Farm Arena is seeking a Concessions Stand Lead to oversee operations at a single concession stand, ensuring safe, friendly service and accurate inventory management. The lead will understand the menu and ensure timely delivery of food without ringing up sales.

The role emphasizes food safety, sanitation, and setup/breakdown of service areas, with responsibilities for team training and guest interactions during events.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in food service or hospitality.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills; maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage offerings and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Completes and follows up on steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction.
• Describes menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing.
• Helps with inventory and product management for the stand.
• Conflict resolutions and de-escalation skills.
• Builds rapport and creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Demonstrates physical stamina to be mobile for long periods; lift/move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Trains concessions team members.
• Oversees timekeeping and compliance with OSHA and Health Department regulations.
