Job summary

Frontwave Arena is seeking an energetic Street Team member to promote the team and engage fans at Clippers and Sockers events. You will hand out promotional materials, assist with mascots, promote sponsored promotions, and help with crowd energizing.

You must be 18+, have reliable transport, and be available for most games and events. If you enjoy dance or performance, you may be used in skits and dances during the game.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Available for majority of games and events.
• Knowledge of basketball and soccer encouraged but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Outgoing, motivated, enthusiastic, and confident.
• Comfortable working in front of large crowds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in diverse weather.
• Access to internet.
• Prior customer service or marketing experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be proactive and organized.
• Ability to work on a team and brainstorm creative ideas.
• Flexible schedule and weekend/evening work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the brand ambassadors throughout the community and on game days
• Represent Frontwave Arena and sponsors in a fun and professional manner
• Engage with fans at home games by greeting fans, handing out promotional items, participating in activities, and assisting with pre-game events
• Execute grassroots marketing promotions around the San Diego area
• Assist in developing creative marketing ideas
• Set-up, tear-down, and manage interactive elements at community events
• Serve as first impression of Frontwave Arena in the community
• Maintain a positive image of Frontwave Arena
