Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Treatment Business Class Lead to develop and manage HDR’s water treatment business in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The role concentrates on growth, team leadership, and delivering high‑impact infrastructure projects.

You will drive strategic planning, coordinate with operations, marketing and project delivery, and recruit and develop engineers while ensuring quality and safety across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering or closely related field.
• 10 years of experience in the field.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and HDR values.
• Current professional engineering registration or licensure.
• Experience in development and management of diverse teams.
• Ability to collaborate with area leaders, operations, marketing and project management.

Responsibilities

• Participate in delivery of projects from planning to construction to meet client expectations.
• Lead as project manager or design manager on critical area and regional projects.
• Oversee quality assurance and control reviews of staff deliverables.
• Recruit, hire, train, develop, and manage technical personnel.
• Drive marketing planning, proposals, and interviews.
• Coordinate and implement area strategic planning, budgeting and execution.
• Promote HDR employee-owned culture and professional discipline groups.
