Expedient continues to grow in the West and is seeking an Area Vice President (AVP) of Sales to lead ourPhoenix, Arizona sales market.This position is not remote.

To be considered, you must live in or near the greater Phoenix area. The Area Vice President is a highly visible, coach/player role that will require time in the office to collaborate with Expedient teams.

The AVPfocuses primarily on and executes againsttheregion's revenue objectives. This is a great opportunity for someone with sales leadership experience in a related IT services, cloud and/or infrastructure-as-a-service business.

You should possess sound business acumen,technical aptitude, an existingnetwork of contacts in the greater Phoenix area,and sales leadership experience that will be vital to sales team success in Phoenix and the surrounding region.

You will lead a team of consultative sales professionals, coordinate with internal Expedient support resources, and establish and execute on the sales strategy for the Phoenix market..

Required:

  • 5+years of successful IT solutions-based sales experience in cloud, data center infrastructure, and/or managed services in the Phoenix area
  • 3+ years of a proven track record in successfully leading sales teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT or related discipline is highly preferred
  • Established contacts and existing business relationships in the Phoenix market
  • Solid experience in forecasting sales on a monthly/quarterly basis with a high degree of accuracy, and developing a sales team’s overall go-to-market strategy
  • Understands and applies outcomes-based selling and can develop the sales team accordingly
  • Strong understanding of pipeline and sales funnel management disciplines
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent relationships with customers and partners inthe Phoenix market
Responsibilities:
  • Attract, hire, educate, coach, motivate and retain consistently high-performing sales professionals
  • Develop and consistently maintain a benchof qualified sales professionals
  • Develop strategic performance plans for each team member and provide ongoing supportto assist them in achieving their respective targets
  • Collaborate with marketing and other functional teams in theplanning and execution of account development strategies to increase sales
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, planning and budgeting on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Salary for this position is commensurate with experience.OTE at plan is approximately $275k to $325k annually. Compensation package includes a competitive base salary + variable compensation and a generous employee benefits package with awesome amenities !
