Walmart Transportation is seeking an Area Manager for the Transportation Office in Greencastle, IN to lead and optimize transportation services, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods.

You will manage a dynamic team, drive continuous improvement, and uphold high standards of quality and safety across logistics operations. This role supports Walmart's supply chain from suppliers to stores and customers.

Formación

• Minimum qualifications include an associate degree or 1 year Walmart logistics/transportation experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Experience supervising associates.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates.
• Implement the area business plan: set goals, manage staffing and scheduling, assign duties, coordinate workloads.
• Prepare, review, and analyze business reports to manage productivity.
• Ensure associates are trained, monitor compliance, and maintain procedures.
• Address concerns by consulting others and making recommendations.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders, and participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation.
• Ensure equipment availability for scheduled maintenance by coordinating with service shops and local offices.
