Responsibilities
  • Supervises assistance to persons served to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being, ensuring staff interactions promote the rights and quality of life of persons served.
  • Develops and monitors activity schedules, ensures staff follow procedures, and implements services outlined in service plans, including staff training.
  • Ensures timely documentation and monitors labor hours to stay within budgetary guidelines.
  • Manages client funds, receipts, and proper documentation.
  • Deploys staff appropriately, maintaining staffing ratios per regulations and service plans.
  • Prepares and posts schedules promptly, utilizing staff efficiently.
  • Conducts performance reviews, staff counseling, and corrective actions, including work improvement plans.
  • Provides feedback on staff documentation and oversees incident reports and investigations.
  • Ensures OSHA compliance and related training, documenting all in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS in Business, Healthcare Administration, Social Science, or High School diploma/GED with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • One year supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or related disorders preferred.
  • Experience managing systems, processes, and people.
  • Must meet all agency pre-employment requirements.
  • Depending on location, certification as a Food Service Director may be required.
