Job Overview

The Area Supervisor is part of the Store Leadership team, responsible for a specific area of the store, overall operations, and supervision when acting as Manager on Duty. Responsibilities include opening/closing the store, supervising associates, maintaining a friendly shopping environment, ensuring merchandise presentation, and executing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintaining Safe & Secure Environments: Ensuring safety is a priority, maintaining awareness, security, and emergency procedures.
  2. Customer Service: Treating all customers, associates, and leaders with respect and professionalism.
  3. Personal and Store Brand: Supporting company branding, maintaining a professional appearance, and store cleanliness.
  4. Merchandising: Managing merchandise recovery, receiving, processing, and display, including back-stock and loss reduction.
  5. Loss Prevention: Conducting awareness and security activities, safeguarding confidential information.
  6. Front End Operations: Managing checkout efficiency, training, equipment, and customer flow.
  7. Fitting Rooms: Maintaining cleanliness, audit, and compliance.
  8. Administrative Duties: Handling cash, payroll, and other store-specific administrative tasks.
  9. Competencies: Managing work processes, business acumen, planning, talent development, collaboration, leadership, communication, and accountability.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English
  • Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems
  • Ability to perform basic math
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, lift up to 25 lbs, and use store equipment as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervises retail associates and stockroom leads where applicable.
