Job summary

Merchants Building Maintenance, a Bakersfield-based full-service commercial cleaning company, is seeking a Janitorial Operations Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning across multiple accounts. You will supervise staff, perform quality inspections, coordinate schedules, and ensure service meets client standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in janitorial or facilities supervision, bilingual Spanish/English, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities, or customer-service operations.
• Bilingual Spanish / English proficiency required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Flexible day/night schedule and on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple accounts.

• Maintain supplies and operational paperwork; manage hiring and payroll tasks.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Janitorial Operations Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple accounts. This position is responsible for supervising staff, conducting quality inspections, coordinating schedules and supplies, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring all services meet company and client standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, experience in customer service or janitorial operations, and the ability to work a flexible, on-call schedule.

Requirements :

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial, facilities, or customer-service operations.
• Bilingual Spanish / English proficiency in both languages is required.

Compensation :

- Salary 70k per year / $32 per hour
