Short- Term Five Week Contract / Full-Time / Start Date: June 2, 2025
Reports to: VP, Spirits – Public Label
About the Role
Public Label, a leading full-service marketing and field execution agency, is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Off Premise Area Sales Manager (ASM) to represent a Vodka Seltzer brand—a standout player in the booming Ready-to-Drink (RTD) category.
As an ASM, you’ll be on the front lines of market expansion. You’ll drive sales execution, grow account relationships, and work directly with distributor teams and retail decision-makers to bring this exciting new product to life in key markets.

What You’ll Do
· Work in close collaboration with the sales team and distributor leads to develop and implement short-term sales plans to achieve long-term results for client goals and initiatives in off premise accounts
· Work with supplier representatives to understand the brand and sales goals and support their efforts to increase market share through new distribution and merchandising in specific accounts
· Review sales data and statistics and provide relevant reports to the senior area sales managers and/or client directly
· Make sales pitches and presentations to existing and prospective clients as a key area sales manager
· Gaining distribution (or secondary placement) of core SKUS and securing displays
· Identify, cultivate and grow strategic customer relationships
· Negotiate & execute sales deals, POS, programming, education etc.
· Ensure shelf compliance for currently distributed offerings & active programs
· High-level reporting of competitive activity in market
· Be in market 4 days a week targeting 8-10 accounts a day & 1 day of office recaps
What We’re Looking For
· 2+ years of sales or account management experience in beverage alcohol preferably RTD,
· Strong understanding of distributor systems and account-level selling
· Track record of meeting sales goals and increasing product visibility in competitive markets
· Existing relationships with key retail and off-premise accounts in your region
· Familiarity with alcohol merchandising standards, state regulations, and market compliance
· Experience with new product launches and brand activation programs
· Proactive, organized, and capable of managing your own book of business with minimal supervision
· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-style environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM tools a plus
· Must be at least 21 years old with reliable transportation
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift, carry, and transport products or promotional materials weighing 35–50 lbs
· Comfortable standing, walking, and moving through retail and off-premise environments for extended periods
· Ability to drive across a designated sales territory, including multiple account visits in one day
· Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
