What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead, coach, and develop the Area Sales Team to meet sales goals in various product categories
- Meet or exceed area sales and budget expectations while supporting team members in the market
- Develop strategic relationships with key customers and account leadership
- Execute annual and long-term business plans for the area, including marketing strategies and new distribution efforts
- Manage sustainable partner relationships and ensure alignment with Master Alignment Plans (MAPs)
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in agriculture or related business field; advanced degrees are ideal
- 7+ years of successful sales experience, with at least 5 years in the agriculture industry and experience leading a sales team
- Strong knowledge of animal nutrition and experience with applicable species
- Proven general management skills with a track record of volume growth in value-added products
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to present strategies to all staff levels
