This is an exciting opportunity in the Pacific Northwest for an Area Sales Manager.

Role Overview

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for developing customer and dealer relationships to grow Allison business. The ASM will develop and implement annual sales plans to achieve business objectives, provide market trends and customer insights to senior leadership, and support growth across all segments in collaboration with Allison Distributors.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 5 years of business experience, including sales/customer support or related to Allison
• Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivation
• Technical and functional expertise
• Ability to collaborate across functions and travel regularly
• Ability to build and maintain business relationships
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Location

• Pacific Northwest (Portland, Seattle, Tacoma)

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute sales plans to increase demand for Allison products
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities
• Support and train customers, OEM dealers, and distributors
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations
• Analyze vehicle applications for optimal product use
• Manage growth initiatives and programs
• Provide high-level customer support to foster enthusiasm for products
• Build relationships with channel partners
• Enhance product knowledge and local market understanding
• Report market dynamics and competitive updates
• Represent Allison at industry events and associations
• Work cross-functionally to support customers
