Nordmeccanica NA, headquartered in Long Island, NY, is the North American branch of the Nordmeccanica Group, Italy. As our customer base expands and demand for tailored technical solutions continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our North American commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to build long-term partnerships, promote cutting-edge technologies, and directly impact our growth in a dynamic, fast-paced market.

This is a remote role with travel throughout the U.S. and Canada – no relocation required.

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our customers’ success by:

  • Develop new business opportunities within the packaging and converting industries
  • Manage and grow existing customer relationships across the territory
  • Provide technical sales support and propose tailored equipment solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with service, engineering, and management to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Attend trade shows, customer trials, and industry events
  • Analyze market trends and support strategic commercial initiatives

What You Bring

We’re seeking a consultative, self-driven professional with a strong technical mindset:

  • 2–5 years of sales or business development experience (B2B manufacturing preferred)
  • Proven track record of growing sales and expanding accounts
  • Background in flexible packaging, converting equipment, or industrial machinery (a plus)
  • Familiarity with laminating, coating, or materials used in flexible packaging (preferred, not required)
  • Ability to understand customer operations and offer problem-solving solutions
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Detail-oriented with solid planning and reporting capabilities
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a wider team
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America
