Job summary

HDR is seeking an Area Safety Manager to lead SH&E efforts across multiple sites. You will develop and review site-specific safety plans and help project teams implement safety programs. Strong training and communication skills are essential for educating coordinators and guiding incident investigations.

Travel within the assigned region is required as HDR supports field teams and offices. The role demands knowledge of OSHA/ANSI standards and dedication to safety excellence across communities

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technical experience or educational equivalent in occupational health and safety.
• Strong knowledge and application of OSHA and ANSI standards.
• Ability to instruct and facilitate Safety, Health and Environmental training courses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review site-specific safety plans aligned with HDR’s SH&E program.
• Assist project teams with Job Hazard Analysis and risk mitigation.
• Educate local safety coordinators to meet safety requirements.
• Conduct SH&E audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
