Job summary

Delek US Holdings seeks an Area Business Manager in Big Spring, TX to lead daily operations of a refinery processing area, focusing on safety, reliability, and cost efficiency. You will mentor the Area Business Team, manage budgets, and drive performance improvements across operations.

The role requires extensive refinery or petrochemical leadership experience, strong collaboration skills, and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced energy environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• In lieu of the above, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 10+ years in refinery, petrochemical, or chemical leadership roles; 4+ years in a managerial/supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of assigned processing area(s), logistics and utilities to meet production goals.
• Lead and develop the Area Business Team, promoting safety and environmental compliance.
• Manage budgets, spend, and contracts for area operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and KPI achievement within the site operations.
• Ensure incident investigations are thorough and corrective actions implemented.
