• Strong knowledge of FDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, BRC, SQF and OSHA standards.
• Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, 5-Why, 8D, GEMBA walks.
• Experience with automated manufacturing environments and PLCs.
• Drive performance through KPI management, Lean Manufacturing, and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-line, multi-shift Production operations to achieve safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity objectives.
• Drive KPIs such as OEE, Throughput, Labor Efficiency, Yield, Downtime Reduction, Schedule Adherence, and Cost Per Unit.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Quality, Regulatory, and Workplace safety standards during audits and inspections.
• Develop, coach, and lead production teams through training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to implement Continuous Improvement projects and new product launches.

The Area Production Manager oversees manufacturing operations, Production Supervisors, and production schedules across the plant. Key duties include optimizing Production, employee Safety, Food Safety and Quality, and Continuous Improvement.
