Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day production across a high‑volume, multi‑shift food manufacturing facility. This hands‑on role collaborates with Maintenance, Quality/Food Safety, Sanitation, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Safety, and HR to drive plant performance.

Key responsibilities include leading across shifts, developing Production Managers, and driving safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while monitoring KPIs such as downtime and waste.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in food/beverage/CPG.
• 3–5+ years leading supervisors or managers.

Job description

A food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day production across a high-volume, multi-shift facility. This hands‑on leadership role will oversee Production and partner closely with Maintenance, Quality/Food Safety, Sanitation, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Safety, and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead production operations across all shifts and ensure schedule attainment.
• Manage and develop Production Managers and Supervisors.
• Drive safety, food safety, quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs including downtime, waste, overtime, staffing, and production performance.
• Maintain a strong presence on the plant floor and provide leadership across all shifts.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3–5+ years leading manufacturing supervisors/managers.
• Food, bakery, beverage, CPG, or regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with multi‑shift, high‑volume manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety, production metrics, and continuous improvement.
