Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• Minimum 4 years in progressively responsible roles.
• At least 3 years supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HACCP procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of plant sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Coordinate and direct all production activities of the department.
• Organize personnel and set daily tasks for front line supervisors.
• Monitor production flow and schedule details to optimize efficiencies.
• Achieve budgeted production yields and minimize condemn poundage.
• Maintain standard manufacturing efficiencies to meet budgets.
• Identify areas of opportunity and recommend improvements.
• Meet product standards while maintaining yield.
• Complete appropriate paperwork daily.
• Train and develop employees in all related areas.
• Develop objectives and monitor results for process improvements.
• Observe plant hazards and ensure timely reporting and investigations.
