Overview

Our client is seeking an Area Operations Manager responsible for daily operations and supervision of Radiological Technologists and/or Sonographers in the Bay Area. The role involves planning schedules, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards. The position requires experience in the mobile field, supervisory capacity, and valid certifications. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement schedules and staffing within the designated region.
  • Monitor performance and forecast service needs for personnel management and departmental P&L management.
  • Ensure compliance with State Regulations and Laws.
  • Perform clinical interactions, including studies.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and make recommendations to management.
  • Maintain communication between management and technologists.
  • Order supplies, equipment, and coordinate repairs within the region.
  • Orient new employees to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist technologists with technical problems.
  • Identify and correct behavioral issues through coaching and counseling.
  • Review technologist payroll for productivity and resource management.
  • Develop and implement strategies aligned with company requirements.
  • Perform X-rays and ultrasounds as needed.
  • Manage fleet and scheduling of vehicles/equipment for maintenance.
  • Monitor and retain dosimetry reports.
  • Oversee technologist credentialing, training, and service quality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Schedule and Shift Details
  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (may vary). Must be in San Leandro twice a week.
Travel
  • Up to 50% within the service area.
