Overview

Our client is seeking an Area Operations Manager responsible for the daily operations and supervision of Radiological Technologists and/or Sonographers in the Bay Area. The role involves planning schedules, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance, and maintaining quality standards. The position requires experience in the mobile field, supervisory capacity, and valid certifications. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and implement schedules and staffing within the designated region.
  2. Monitor performance and forecast service needs for personnel management and departmental P&L management.
  3. Ensure compliance with State Regulations and Laws.
  4. Perform clinical interactions, including conducting studies.
  5. Conduct staff evaluations and make recommendations to management.
  6. Maintain communication between management and technologists.
  7. Order supplies, equipment, and coordinate equipment repairs within the region.
  8. Orient new employees to company policies and procedures.
  9. Assist technologists in solving technical problems.
  10. Identify and correct problem behaviors through coaching and counseling.
  11. Review technologist payroll for productivity and resource control.
  12. Plan and implement strategies aligned with company requirements.
  13. Perform X-rays/Ultrasounds as needed.
  14. Manage fleet scheduling and maintenance of vehicles/equipment.
  15. Monitor and retain dosimetry reports.
  16. Oversee technologist clinical credentialing, training, and service quality.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Schedule and Shift Details

Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm (schedule may vary). Must be in San Leandro 2 times a week.

Travel

Up to 50% travel within the service area.
