Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Area Manager in California to lead a team of hourly associates, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. You will engage the team across shifts, drive performance, and coordinate with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business goals.

Expect a dynamic environment with opportunities as new sites open. Role requires 2+ years in people management and a bachelor's degree or equivalent; flexibility for weekends/nights/holidays is expected.

Competenze

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field.
• Industry experience in: retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production or distribution environments.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
