Amazon.com Services LLC in Edison, NJ is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates, drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

You will collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR, mentor staff, and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for long shifts, with variable temperatures and noise.

Competenze

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics or lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma experience.
• Experience managing 20+ employees.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Supply Chain/Logistics preferred.
• Industry experience in retail, manufacturing or distribution environments.
